Lasko is establishing a very strong reputation for engineering and building some of the best space heaters on the market – heaters which nicely combine excellent heating performance, great material and build quality and beautiful designs.

Especially popular are Lasko’s Ceramic Tower Heaters, offering the efficiency and effectiveness of ceramic heating elements in an intelligent and space-saving tower configuration. These best-selling and highly rated tower heaters also feature the same quality and reliability you would get with any product from Lasko, a real leader in the field of home heating and cooling.

What Advantages do Ceramic Heaters Offer?

Ceramic Heaters offer some real advantages over other types of space heaters, including:

  • High Energy Efficiency
  • Low Running Cost
  • Little or No Fire Risk
  • Ceramic Elements Don’t Get as Hot – safer for kids and pets
  • No Fumes or Other Noxious Emissions
  • No Need to Refill Gas Tanks
  • Can Work Alone, or They Can Supplement Central Heating – for even greater savings on your energy bill

How Well do Lasko Ceramic Tower Heaters Work?

If you have ever experienced a Lasko ceramic tower heater in action, you already know just how well they work – and how good they look – and there’s a good chance you have already decided to purchase one.

If you haven’t, you can rest assured that Lasko offers the best products for the money, all proudly made in America and with the best quality materials and construction and that Lasko ceramic tower fans work great – in fact, they often heat a room better even than fans that are substantially more expensive.

What Makes a Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater so Good?

Some people would point to the ceramic element, which so brilliantly combines high effectiveness in heating with real energy efficiency and cost savings. Others would say the quality and reliability, the design, the ease of use, or many other factors.

We think it a combination of all these things, and have prepared a small list of the key features and benefits of any Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater:

  • High-Efficiency Ceramic Heating Element
  • Tower Design for Better Heat Distribution
  • Very Quiet
  • Easy to Use
  • Easy to Move and Flexible in Placement – use them where you need them!
  • Great Built-In Features
  • Excellent Material and Build Quality
  • Industry Leading 3 Year Warranty
  • Great Safety Features, Including Overheat Protection and Cool Touch Exteriors on All Models

Whatever the reason – and for sure certain of the above features and benefits will be more or less important to certain people – it all comes down to how well a heater, well, heats… And the Lasko tower space heaters do this as well as, or better than, almost any heater on the market today. And for the money, they are maybe the best we know.

Is a Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater a Good Value for the Money?

This is one of the most amazing things about Lasko ceramic tower heaters. For all of their hi-tech design, their exceptionally high-quality ceramic heating elements, their overall high levels of material quality and workmanship, and just how well they perform, Lasko ceramic tower heaters are almost absurdly inexpensive!

If you would ever have the benefit of comparing these products with far more expensive units, side by side in your own home, you would see that every Lasko tower heater (and really all Lasko products) offer equal or superior performance, look better and are easier to use. Besides, they just feel better – that is, even compared to some pretty pricey competitors, Lasko heaters offer a kind of quality look and feel that you don’t often find these days, and you get the sense that this unit will work well for a long time to come.

But What Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater is Best for Me?

In our 2020 Buyer’s Guide – In-Depth Review: Lask Ceramic Tower Heaters – we will consider 4 different Lasko Ceramic Tower Heaters. Our list will go from least to most expensive, but you will see that none of them is especially expensive, and for the money, they all offer great features and performance.

We will talk briefly about each of these five Lasko heaters, discussing the basic features and specifications, and by the end, you should have no difficulty deciding which is best for you.

While all of the Lasko ceramic tower heaters in our survey have the same power rating (a nice 1,500 watts), the height of the tower and the size of the ceramic heating element can make a big difference as to how large of a space they can heat, so check the Features and Specifications list to make sure that particular heater will be big enough.

After the individual reviews, we will offer some closing comments, including a little bit about Lasko as a company.

Lasko 5307 16 Inch Ceramic Tower Space Heater

One of Lasko’s most basic models, the 5307 Ceramic Tower Space Heater is simplicity itself. With mechanical controls to adjust temperature levels, oscillation and heating mode, the Lasko 5307 is, for lots of people, much easier to operate, and many claim that such mechanical controls are more reliable over the long run.

While the 5307 ceramic space heater does not include a remote control, it is designed primarily for tabletop or desktop use, and so it should normally be close at hand, making the remote less important than for other Lakso models.

This heater has the same power rating as some of the more expensive Lasko models, but the smaller ceramic element, 16 inch height and less powerful fan make it better for smaller areas, and again best used on a table or other surface – although we have used one as a floor-standing heater under our desk in the winter, and it keeps our feet toasty warm!

Our review of the Lasko 5307 16 Inch Ceramic Tower Space Heater clearly demonstrates that it is an inexpensive way to get Lasko quality, and a simple and reliable heater that works fantastically well for smaller spaces.

Lasko 755320 23 Inch Ceramic Tower Space Heater with Remote Control

With the second item on our 2020 review, the Lasko 755320 Space Heater, we get a taller unit (almost 2 feet tall, or about 58 CM), which can warm a larger space. This taller tower also works a little better as a floor-stander, although it also is great on a desk or counter.

The full digital display and electronic control panel are really well designed, and allow you to control the oscillation, set exact temperature (which will be maintained by the built-in thermostat), select high or low heat or automatic mode and set the 8-hour timer.

A beautiful looking heater, which is quiet, effective and easy to use, the Lasko 755320 Ceramic Tower Space Heater is a great choice for an office, bedroom or other medium-small space – it takes up very little floor space or room on your table, and offers great features and great heating for the money – and, again, that famous Lasko quality.

The Lasko Ultra CT32960 has an ultra-clear, highly readable and accessible front panel control, which shows temperature settings in large numbers and lets you easily control the timer, oscillation and all other functions. You can also control everything using the remote control, and the heater has a little niche for storing the remote – I thought I had lost mine until I remembered it was right where it was supposed to be, snuggled up with the heater!

A big and strong tower heater, the CT32960 still takes up almost no floor space and looks good with any decor. It is a great choice for larger rooms and colder climates and will provide powerful heating for many years to come.

Lasko 5588 34 Inch Ceramic Tower Space Heater

The tallest unit in our buyer’s guide and survey of Lasko ceramic tower heaters, the 5538 space heater is a full 34 inches tall (around 86 inches), and will offer a little better heating and heat distribution in larger spaces than even the excellent Lasko Ultra above.

The Lasko 5588 also has one of the nicest remote controls we’ve ever used – not only is it easy to use, and lets you control all of the heater‘s functions, it also has a big, bright and helpful display. And the remote can be stored on the heater – easy to use, hard to lose!

But despite its size and substantial power, the 5588 ceramic space heater is easy to move around, with a built-in carrying handle, and easy to place pretty much anywhere thanks to its small footprint. This helps make the 5588, out of all the units on our 2020 buyer’s guide for Lasko Ceramic Tower Heaters,  not just the best for larger spaces, or if you want a little more heat, but also the best for cutting fuel costs. It fills spaces so effectively, just where you need it, that you may be surprised at how little you use your central heating system – and at how much money you will save.

Final Thoughts: Is Lasko a Good Company?

After reading through our Lasko ceramic tower heater buyer’s guide, you’ve likely already found the answers to most basic questions:

  • Are Lasko Ceramic Tower Heaters Any Good?

and

  • Should I Buy a Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater?

But sometimes it is nice to know something about the company itself, and this knowledge can – especially in this case – make an already good decision even better, and make you feel even better about making it.

Lasko is not just an industry leader for quality, value and performance, they are also a company with a heart. Extremely concerned about environmentally and socially responsible practices, Lasko is constantly active in ensuring their products are made, distributed and sold with the lowest possible carbon footprint, fair labor practices and the highest human rights standards, as well as adhering fully to the RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) directive, ensuring the health and safety of employees and customers alike.

These things may or may not make Lasko Ceramic Tower Heaters better at heating your space, but they certainly add to the list of reasons why they are such a good choice.

If you know that they are exceptional heaters for the money, that they can be used in such a wide variety of spaces and easily moved around where you need them, that they offer the best quality and reliability, that they are easy to use and look beautiful, it is an easy decision.

But if you know that you are buying a product from an old, well established and fine company, who cares about their employees and the environment as much as they do about your comfort and satisfaction, it becomes a brilliant decision as well, and one you will always feel good about – on every level.
